YOUR FILES & YOUR CHOICES
Privacy policy
ZipRarChive Pro processes archives on your Mac. It has no app account, advertising, analytics or hosted file-storage service, and does not upload your archive contents.
Effective October 27, 2026. ZipRarChive Pro is published by Fadi Hanna under Pro App Center. For privacy enquiries, contact support@proappcenter.com.
Scope and who is responsible
This policy covers the Mac app, this app website and support correspondence handled by Fadi Hanna, publishing as Pro App Center. The app's local processing is separate from information you send by email or your browser sends when visiting this website.
Files you choose
macOS grants access to selected files and folders. The app reads and writes those files to perform the archive, preview and backup operations you request. It keeps bookmarks for archive history, backups and destinations so it can reopen locations you chose. Finder-connected cloud providers may synchronize these locations using their own services and settings.
Local records and passwords
Archive history, backup plans, job history, preferences and recovery drafts are stored locally to support recent-file access, scheduled work and recovery. Unsaved additions may have separate working copies. These records can remain until you clear the relevant history, remove plans or app storage, or the app's cleanup routines remove them. Backup snapshots and your archives remain until you remove them; deleting a schedule does not delete its snapshots.
Passwords are not saved in the job journal. Choosing Remember in Keychain stores a password in macOS Keychain, where you can remove it. Deleting the app does not guarantee deletion of its local records or Keychain entries. We cannot remotely read or delete these local files.
Previews and diagnostics
Decrypted previews use temporary local files. These are removed when their document closes, with cleanup on relaunch. Secure erasure on an SSD cannot be guaranteed.
Diagnostic export is manual. The text includes app/build and macOS versions, operation types, outcomes and error codes, and excludes filenames, file paths, passwords and bookmarks. The app does not send it automatically. Review an export before choosing to share it with support.
When you contact support
Emailing support shares your email address, any name supplied by your email account, and the message or attachments you choose to send with our support mailbox and email providers. We use these details to answer your request and investigate problems you report. Do not include passwords or confidential archives. Contacting support is optional and is not required to use the app.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and related follow-up, meet applicable retention obligations, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You may request deletion; if some information must be retained, we will explain the reason. Provider backup copies may remain until their normal expiry. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them.
This website and other services
This website contains no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies or contact form. Cloudflare Pages hosts it. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the website; its processing and retention are described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. This website does not receive your archive contents. Hosting and email providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Apple handles App Store purchases and distribution under Apple's privacy policy; the app does not receive your payment-card details. Email and cloud-storage services you choose operate under their own privacy policies. The app does not transmit data to advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
Your choices and privacy requests
Clear Archive History in Settings → General. Manage backup plans and snapshots under Backups. Manage remembered passwords in macOS Keychain Access. Stop a backup schedule and remove the relevant saved references to stop that scheduled use of a location. macOS permission settings also control applicable file access. See data-deletion guidance before removing storage that may contain unsaved work.
For information you sent us, you can request access, correction or deletion at support@proappcenter.com. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We will verify a request using only information reasonably needed and respond within applicable legal time limits.
Where a legal basis is required, responding to optional support requests and operating this website rely on our legitimate interests in providing support and a functioning website, subject to your rights; we rely on legal obligations where retention is required and on consent where required. No personal information is required by the app to process local archives.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change, and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@proappcenter.com.
